Dokyun Im

Born in Korea, but raised in the U.S.A., it embraces the cultures of both countries and makes movies. He's a director, a writer.  Modern young people don't know what to fight for and what to fear. Im Dokyun tries to convey the fact in a movie and teaches young people with uncertain identities how to embrace the culture. Starting with a limited smartphone movie, he gradually learned about the camera and made art without being constrained by technology. Times have changed, and we have to keep up with trends.

He studied film and film at Dongguk University in Korea. In order to have a broader perspective in his second year of college, he re-immigrated to the United States and valued it. It brought Korea's independent film production and story. The goal is to create a melodrama for immigrants living in the United States and young people who are confused about their identity.
